Squishy Circuits!

What is a squishy circuit? It's a circuit made with conductive dough, like Play-Doh, LED's, a battery pack and your imagination!
Students in the third grade explored how to make squishy dough circuits from scratch! We made the conductive dough recipe, insulating dough recipe and used our knowledge of circuits to prototype different designs. Through the process, students learned about conductive vs. insulating dough, how to make a squishy circuit work, short circuits, dough switches, series and parallel circuits.

Click the title below to find out how you can make squishy circuits too!
